Falls and Cascdes220 viewsThe only difficult part of the trail to this point is gong through the crack in a huge boulder, down a little bit of a slide, hanging from a laurel bush and dropping to the floor of the small canyon. Piece of Cake! I did it and I am older than dirt.Oct 13, 2019 at 12:24 PM

Swimming Hole231 viewsSince there is a dirty, rough "camp" nearby I assume this is a swimming hole. A pretty place that most people don't see.Oct 13, 2019 at 12:24 PM

Rock Island Veil317 viewsMost falls do not look like this but, this group of falls, with proper light, ared just plain fun to tinker with.Oct 13, 2019 at 12:23 PM
Odd274 viewsRock Island should probably be listed under odd stuff.

When a dam was built on a "U" turn in the river and the water backed up, due to limestone between the curves that form the "U" water started to seep through to emerge in the wall of the now lower river.

The following photos are the results. Note the water comes out of the cliff.

Near Cookeville, TN and numerous other falls.

Out of the cliff_1200x900.jpg
Just plain weird252 viewsYou don't get to myage and not see things most folks would think odd but, this is really andodd thing.

The water just squirts out of the cliff face, not over the top edge of a cliff but, out of the cliff face and below it's top.

Now that I have learned which end of the camera points to the falls I am going to return and get better photos.

Great Falls?258 viewsThe power company was not generating so, the river was very low. I think this is the non-generating version of Great Falls.

Just below this is Twin Falls which had lots of water.
