Cougar?313 viewsDo Cougars have rings around their tails and wear a mask?
This very day, Sep. 7 2011 two cougars were killed by the Wildlife folks very near our location.
One News report stated they were backed up by the RCMP for crowd control ??? What the heck were they doing, preventing a stampede back to Victoria?
Actually, old Wally here (a name I gave to this obviously dangerous critter) showed up on our B&B lawn and started to explain the rules of engagement to BJ and Myself.
BJ defended her crew, namely me, admirably.Mar 21, 2019 at 11:18 PM

Backbone Rock371 viewsLocated on TN 133 about 5 miles from Damascus, VA.
The arch is man made for old logging trains. Note the size or the tunnel compared to the lady standing in it. Also notice the notch in the top of the tunnel. That is so the smoke stack of the train could clear the top.
While visiting the park, there is a waterfalls behind the photographer and a cascade in the park behind the lady.Mar 20, 2019 at 10:55 PM
