Nose Shadow1633 viewsLooks like an animal emerging from the water with it's nose casting a shadow.
Kind of like cloud art? You don't see the nose shadow? Drop us a note and we will paint it red for you.
This is still not Burgess at it's best. Give it some more rain and it will be a tru beast.Sep 12, 2011

Little Qualicum Falls-42332 viewsWhatcha think? If you like neither then I'll blame it on the ever present Sunshine.
Vancouver is know for it's cool misty climate but, we had ten straight days of brilliant sunshine. Niece for touring but tough on waterfalls photography. Sep 11, 2011

Little Qualicum Falls-32250 viewsLQF-3&-4 are the same view with focal point and exposure time differences. My preference is the darker photo with the closer rocks as the focal point, rather than the falls itself.Sep 11, 2011

2114 views4 views Montmerency Falls just outside Quebec City. Note the even crest of the falls.A hydroelectric dam was built across thetop.
A foot bridge is located just below the falls and you can see the city from there as your walk across. For more information http://www.viator.com/Quebec-City-attractions/Montmorency-Falls-Park/d626-a966Sep 10, 2011

Attack Flaminken!1682 viewsOldalbatross being attacked by what appears to be a cross between a flamingo and a chicken. Well, there is a flamingo in Victoria Butterfly Garden and there are farms nearby that I am sure have yard birds.
I kind of think IT, whatever IT is, liked my shoe laces. My guess is that IT doesn't eat butterfly's.Sep 10, 2011

Cougar?2066 viewsDo Cougars have rings around their tails and wear a mask?
This very day, Sep. 7 2011 two cougars were killed by the Wildlife folks very near our location.
One News report stated they were backed up by the RCMP for crowd control ??? What the heck were they doing, preventing a stampede back to Victoria?
Actually, old Wally here (a name I gave to this obviously dangerous critter) showed up on our B&B lawn and started to explain the rules of engagement to BJ and Myself.
BJ defended her crew, namely me, admirably.Sep 10, 2011
