King Fisher1629 viewsSorry for the poor quality of the photo, it was taken several hundred yards from the royal subject.
Watched a pair of King fishers feeding and mating for quiet some time but, photographing them was very tough to do since they rarely sit still and were at such a distance.
The photo was taken on my recent trip to Middle Tennessee near Rock Island.Aug 28, 2011

Jeremiah 2017 viewsJeremiah was a Bullfrog, was a good friend of mine, never spoke a single word, but he had some mighty fine wine.....
Got to figure out who wrote that stupid song so I can give him credit, whether he wants it or not.
Don't really know about the wine but, you can visit Jeremiah at Evins Mill.Aug 27, 2011

Carmac, The main Event!1572 viewsI consider myself very lucky to be standing knee deep in a creek photographing this falls.
Actually there are two falls, side by side but, separated. I am not sure, even after looking at the map, if the one on the right is Evans Mill Falls.

Carmac Falls (small)1571 viewsThis part of Carmac Falls is smaller in width than the main falls and is located to the right of the main falls when facing it from downstream.
Both Falls are on private property and open to guest at Evins Mill B&B.
I have been lucky enough to stay at many B&Bs but, none with such an impressive waterfalls, and two waterfalls at that.
It may well be this falls is actually Evans Mill Falls
Drop me an email and I'll tell you how to contact them.Aug 27, 2011

Answer no. 21665 viewsActually it is not a panther but, this cat greeted us when we checked in at Rock Island State Parks, TN.
After calming Lou's nerves the cat joined us for a wiener roast.Aug 26, 2011
