Laurel Fork Falls1469 viewsThis is one of the most visited falls in the area due to it's being located on the Appalachian Trail.
To reach the falls and get a good hike, venture up Dennis Cove Road and park at the well marked Appalachian Trail crossing.
There are at least two more falls on the way if you are a little more experienced.
If you want a little more difficult hike, park at the crossing in Hampton, TN.

Little Qualicum Falls-41468 viewsWhatcha think? If you like neither then I'll blame it on the ever present Sunshine.
Vancouver is know for it's cool misty climate but, we had ten straight days of brilliant sunshine. Niece for touring but tough on waterfalls photography.

Wild Ponies1464 viewsA joy to watch the kids with the herd of 'Wild" ponies. They do bight and kick though.

Dry1463 viewsDon't drive to Big South Fork to photograph this falls unless there has been significant rainfall.
I would classify this as a wet weather falls.
That said, Needle Arch is just down the trail, less than half mile.

Frenchie1453 viewsWent to Normandy to pay my respect to those young men who will never grow old.
Along the river I found the only waterfall I saw on the Seine River Cruise. Unfortunately, it was small and at night.
Yeah, I know the same nation that gave us (US) the Statue Of Liberty has better waterfalls, I just did not go near one.

Marine and Army hiking buddy1451 viewsShe is a Marine just coming down from the NYC Marathon.
He is and army Vet that answered the call and is coming down also, just not the same marathon.
You are a special treat for this Oldalbatross and renew my faith in young Americans.

Ghost Fisherman1449 viewsUse your imagination! I see a ghostly fisherman, kind of looking to his left, rod raised, kind of a pin head though.
So, what do you see, and don't say an odd little waterfalls?
