Cougar?1971 viewsDo Cougars have rings around their tails and wear a mask?

This very day, Sep. 7 2011 two cougars were killed by the Wildlife folks very near our location.
One News report stated they were backed up by the RCMP for crowd control ??? What the heck were they doing, preventing a stampede back to Victoria?

Actually, old Wally here (a name I gave to this obviously dangerous critter) showed up on our B&B lawn and started to explain the rules of engagement to BJ and Myself.

BJ defended her crew, namely me, admirably.

Reflecting On Ugly1983 viewsIf being a Buzzard is not bad enough, they can see their reflection in the river.

Kind of makes one sick. Oh, they make daily appearances at Rock Island State Park, TN.

Melisa1918 viewsHiked with her and two other crew members to Gentry Creek Falls. Besides being a joy to be around she is a better hiker than I. Mel, you are always welcome to take the lead on my hikes.

She found the first Geocasche I have seen, up under the falls.

Boiler?2148 viewsI found this near an old power plant t Burgess Falls, TN.

Have no idea what it could be but, thought it might be an old boiler except it has concrete in the bottom?

Any info appreciated.

Tall Swimming Hole1927 viewsTennessee State Parks list the falls as 256 ft. in height.

Note the two people resting after a swim. Gives you and idea of the height of the falls.
