Jeremiah 1928 viewsJeremiah was a Bullfrog, was a good friend of mine, never spoke a single word, but he had some mighty fine wine.....
Got to figure out who wrote that stupid song so I can give him credit, whether he wants it or not.
Don't really know about the wine but, you can visit Jeremiah at Evins Mill. (1 votes)

Panther?2126 viewsCould this possibly be a Rock Island State Park Panther?
Since being ordained a Tennessee citizen, way back in 1976 I have heard the stories about panthers that lurk in the mountains.
This was sighted right out our back door when we checked in at the park.
Should I have listened to Lou and not risked our life and limb by checking in after dark in a place where waterfalls emerge from cliffs, but have no visible river?
To find out, check under Planes, Trains and Odd things, Critters answer no. 2 (1 votes)

One of every "Airdale's" dreaded duties, if you flew out of Elizabeth City, NC was to fly Ice Patrol from Argentia, Newfoundland. About the equivelent of a thirty day sentence in a freezer.
We actually located and plotted Ice Bergs and forecast their course. (1 votes)

Wood Snake?1997 viewsNo such thing as a Wood Snake? Maybe a Copper Head, quiet common around here?? So, don't zoom in or enlarge the photo, make a guess what type snake this is.
Is too a Wood Snake.......... Zoom in and see. What the hay, I thought it was a snake and I was there with it, just below Lower Clear Branch Falls. Started to whack it with the Roaming Knob buuuut, nobody was looking so i just kind of eased on out.
Should have stopped right there, but this was too good to keep to myself. (1 votes)

Beginning and End2033 viewsCumberland, MD where the Great Allegheny Passage begins and the C&O Tow Path ends.
A truly neat city, especially downtown.
Anywhere I can sit outside, eat good "Q", wash it down with a beer and get BJ stitched up from her latest bike accident, is a good lace to be in the Summertime. (1 votes)
