Carmac, The main Event!202 viewsI consider myself very lucky to be standing knee deep in a creek photographing this falls.

Actually there are two falls, side by side but, separated. I am not sure, even after looking at the map, if the one on the right is Evans Mill Falls.

Not for everyone.329 viewsGet in shape before trying this one. There was storm damage well before the 2011 tornado that hit the area and it is over logs and without a trail most of the way.

If you are in good physical shape this will be fun and check your resolve. But, hey, I am old so I SHOULD be tired.

Top Of Squibb Creek Falls lower falls **522 viewsLou and I took the hike up Squibb Creek after a night of heavy rain. If your thing is creek crossing this is for you.

The round trip is about five miles and with the water level high and a trail not much different than the creek, a grand time was had by all.

We found getting to the bottom of the falls, with the high water, was a little risky hence the top photos.

I recommend this trip just for the fantastic cascades below the Falls.
