King Fisher1848 viewsSorry for the poor quality of the photo, it was taken several hundred yards from the royal subject.
Watched a pair of King fishers feeding and mating for quiet some time but, photographing them was very tough to do since they rarely sit still and were at such a distance.
The photo was taken on my recent trip to Middle Tennessee near Rock Island.

Attack Flaminken!1890 viewsOldalbatross being attacked by what appears to be a cross between a flamingo and a chicken. Well, there is a flamingo in Victoria Butterfly Garden and there are farms nearby that I am sure have yard birds.
I kind of think IT, whatever IT is, liked my shoe laces. My guess is that IT doesn't eat butterfly's.

After calming Lou's nerves the cat joined us for a wiener roast.
