This site is dedicated to waterfalls, mountains, an old aviators memories, with lots of poetic liberties, some just plain made up, and interesting places to visit.

Hedge Apple?1336 viewsWe found this, one of natures little oddities, along the Great Allegheny Passage, one of our many bike trips.

I have no idea of it's usefulness but, if the Major Leagues decide to go green, I'll be on the leading edge of the national pastime.

Tree Rock1163 viewsCheck out the rock in the tree above Lou. Only explanation I could think of is the tree grew up under the rock, which is now firmly embedded in the fork of the tree.

Got a better explanation send it to us.

Pinnacle Lookout Tower1327 viewsPinnacle Lookout Tower occupies the spot where an old Fire Tower once stood and is visible from the town of Unicoi, TN.

There is a trail leading to the tower from I-26, Unicoi exit. Better take along some water and energy bars, you will need both.

Ghost Fisherman1449 viewsUse your imagination! I see a ghostly fisherman, kind of looking to his left, rod raised, kind of a pin head though.

So, what do you see, and don't say an odd little waterfalls?

Again, I never saw one of these at Sea so, it must be odd stuff.

Lombard Street1260 viewsLombard Street, San Francisco, California, is supposed to be the most crooked street on earth.

Lot to be said for drinking while surveying.

Carrot Pepper1317 viewsThat is a carrot Pepper shaker for those eating Rabbit pie.

Yes, it was very good. Maybe this post should be under Critters.

Boiler?1285 viewsI found this near an old power plant t Burgess Falls, TN.

Have no idea what it could be but, thought it might be an old boiler except it has concrete in the bottom?

Any info appreciated.

Flash Mob 1324 viewsI just learned a new term and couldn't wait to use it.

Don't you think this is an appropriate time for it's use? also kind of looks like an old folks home breakout.

L-R; Molly, Lou, BJ, and some Oldalbatoss they picked up hitchiking.
