Big Jim is my living history lesson for an area called Bumpass Cove. He can tell you waterfalls can be dangerous. Broke his back as a child falling from one, living up Patty Creek.

They are in pictured in California Fields, TN. Where there are more bears than folks. That's
because the Forest Service owns that area now.

Wood Snake?364 viewsNo such thing as a Wood Snake? Maybe a Copper Head, quiet common around here?? So, don't zoom in or enlarge the photo, make a guess what type snake this is.

Is too a Wood Snake.......... Zoom in and see. What the hay, I thought it was a snake and I was there with it, just below Lower Clear Branch Falls. Started to whack it with the Roaming Knob buuuut, nobody was looking so i just kind of eased on out.

Should have stopped right there, but this was too good to keep to myself.
