Beware The Serpent2448 viewsPanthertowns portal to the upper falls of Panthertown Creek is guarded by this Rock Serpent.

Legend has it that those who litter here should have the serpent to fear.(I just made that legend up)

Dry2447 viewsDon't drive to Big South Fork to photograph this falls unless there has been significant rainfall.

I would classify this as a wet weather falls.

That said, Needle Arch is just down the trail, less than half mile.

Both Plunges2439 viewsPhotos really do not do Brdal Veil justice. These are huge cliffs with two 600 ft plunges.

I did come back!2438 viewsI don't like top down photos but, this one shows my destination, the rock where the water disappears.

My first visit was a flop. This time, with a little more experience
(how much more experience does a 74 yr old goat need) I made it to the top.

Told you!2435 viewsHey, Molly told you I could dress it up.

Doesn't the little frosty cascade make Lower Stony look good?

Dry Weather2428 viewsNiece hike up a good trail and stairs...lots of stairs. Were it not for the stairs this would be easy.

OA on the abiss 2428 viewsThe park is set up real niece, with board walks and platforms but, if one is a serious waterfalls photographer it would take rappelling to get to the bottom of the sinkhole to get a good shot.

Yosemite Falls2426 viewsUnfortunately we visited Yosemite during a dry period.
The falls is reported to be 2,425 ft high and it looked every foot of that.

Down Stream *2426 viewsMaybe a ten foot falls but, water was high and it was an easy photo shot, right beside the road to Thurmon, WV.

This road leads to a rafting drop off so watch out for buss traffic, not school bus type...Gray Dog type.

Mill Creek Falls 2426 viewsAs easy as it gets! The falls is on private property but, being a camping ministry, they are easy to get along with. Please, check in with the camp.
