Upper -51899 views A cowardly shot from the road. I had stopped by Clinch Mountain Winery on the way to this falls and got a bottle of HOUND DOG RED, after which, my courage kicked in and with my trusty ROAMING KNOB I jousted Upper Joe Mills falls. I would have made it to the bottom but, unfortunately ran out of Hound Dog Red.
Not true but, sounded good didn't it.

Clear Mountain Stream1897 viewsNothing like a clear mountain stream in early Fall, wish this was the case for Joe Mill Fall Upper.
To the photographers left is old tires, household trash and bed springs that made easy entry to the creek difficult.
Makes me think back to Iron Eyes Cody.

Rock Creek South Branch (1)1897 viewsThis falls can be tricky to find. If you are going to the upper falls, above the foot bridge, keep watching for a downed tree that has been cut about waist level. Turn right just after the tree on the faint trail. Cross the creek and you should see an old brick fire pit. Keep going up the adjacent small creek. This is the South Branch, not the original creekk you started out on.
To find South Branch Falls continue less than 0.2 miles to the falls.
