Melisa2035 viewsHiked with her and two other crew members to Gentry Creek Falls. Besides being a joy to be around she is a better hiker than I. Mel, you are always welcome to take the lead on my hikes.

She found the first Geocasche I have seen, up under the falls.

Big and Little2041 viewsBig Jim is on the starboard and Little Jim on port.
(for Sandcrabs port and left have four letters)

Big Jim is my living history lesson for an area called Bumpass Cove. He can tell you waterfalls can be dangerous. Broke his back as a child falling from one, living up Patty Creek.

They are in pictured in California Fields, TN. Where there are more bears than folks. That's
because the Forest Service owns that area now.

CG 1275 Remembered2068 viewsTo the best of my knowledge and ancient memory, this was the first Coast Guard aircraft I flew on~1964, at Elizabeth City, NC.

I had just arrived from eight Years of AIMING HIGH, USAF. For this I gave up B-52s and an eight hour day.

ADF2024 viewsHis crew position is more like an instrument, Aviation Direction Finder. The reason for this title is his ability to rapidly ascend ridges I will only see from an aircraft, and find alternative trails when searching for "new" falls.

An excellent Woodsman I am fortunate to go waterfalling with.
