 Another side2735 viewsIf you venture up on the "Big" rock you get this view of the falls emptying into this "trench" and running off the right side and under the big rock.

 Laurel Creek Falls *2672 viewsLocals refer to this falls as Trash Can Falls, not because of it being trashy but, at one time there was a public dumpster nearby.

With that said, the day I was there was following a downpour of rain so the creek was muddy.

 Upper Falls2562 viewsIf you passed the Rock Serpent and down an 8 ft drop to the creek this will be your reward. This upper falls we did not know about.

 Need Rain2543 viewsI'll definitely return to this falls after wet weather. The Sun shines directly on the falls in the PM so, I'll also bring along my better camera for a smaller aperture.

 Beware The Serpent2532 viewsPanthertowns portal to the upper falls of Panthertown Creek is guarded by this Rock Serpent.

Legend has it that those who litter here should have the serpent to fear.(I just made that legend up)

 I did come back!2528 viewsI don't like top down photos but, this one shows my destination, the rock where the water disappears.

My first visit was a flop. This time, with a little more experience
(how much more experience does a 74 yr old goat need) I made it to the top.
