Water Cave2329 viewsSteele Creek goes under this big rock, forming a foam whirlpool.

Views from this vantage point are the reason I give Steel reek Falls a *** rating. Note the rope on the rock. This is a very slick area so use the rope to hold on.

This little area can definitely clean your family gene pool.

Carlton2151 viewsCarlton's is the top falls, as far as I know, on Greenland Creek. A good starting point to visit all the falls on Greenland Creek.

Newland Falls *2277 viewsNearly dark when I spotted this falls right beside the road just outside Newland, NC.
This is as easy as it gets to see a waterfall.

Beware The Serpent2448 viewsPanthertowns portal to the upper falls of Panthertown Creek is guarded by this Rock Serpent.

Legend has it that those who litter here should have the serpent to fear.(I just made that legend up)

Lower Panthertown Creek Falls2325 viewsThe hike to the lower falls is pretty easy until the turn off below The Great Wall, then there is nothing that can be called a trail, just a few faded ribbons and a few clips.

This 0.2 mile bushwhack through a recent controlled burn I would rate difficult for those not accustomed to Bushwhacking.
