Why I hike waterfalls2151 viewsThis pothole is the reason I came to Steele Creek, and why I hike waterfalls. They are all different but, this one is downright strange and I will return for further exploring. (1 votes)

I did come back!2179 viewsI don't like top down photos but, this one shows my destination, the rock where the water disappears.
My first visit was a flop. This time, with a little more experience
(how much more experience does a 74 yr old goat need) I made it to the top. (1 votes)

Broken Heart2108 viewsMaybe this falls should be renamed "Broken Heart". The pothole forms the shape of a heart, broken by the creek entering and leaving it. (1 votes)

Water Cave2064 viewsSteele Creek goes under this big rock, forming a foam whirlpool.
Views from this vantage point are the reason I give Steel reek Falls a *** rating. Note the rope on the rock. This is a very slick area so use the rope to hold on.
This little area can definitely clean your family gene pool. (1 votes)

Steel Creek Cascades2061 viewsUnable to reach the main falls due to water levell that prevented crossing creek. I will come back, prepared to cross the creek. Al alternate route, up the right side of the creek is not really an alternative unless you have a fondness for Laurel bushes, steep slopes, and leaf covered rock. (1 votes)
